Uses

Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) is for the treatment of genital warts only on the external parts of the penis or vulva. It works by necrotising the skin of the affected area.

Dosage and Administration

Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) is applied either with the tip of the finger or an applicator. Put a small amount of Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) on the affected area and gently rub it in. The result should be a thin film of the medication covering the genital wart. Make sure you wash your hands after applying Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin). If you use an applicator safely dispose the applicator after use.

Use Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) as directed, usually for 3 days per week, and for 4 weeks in total. Before using Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin), make sure the area is clean and dry.

Side effects

Using Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) may result in unwanted side effects. You may experience 1 or more of the following side effects: a bad odor from the treated skin, bleeding of treated skin, bloody urine, dizziness, redness or swelling of treated skin, or vomiting.

Precautions

Avoid getting the solution on normal, healthy skin. If you do get the solution on skin other than the intended area, wash the area immediately.

Contact with the eyes or internal parts of the body should be avoided. If Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) does come in contact with these parts of the body, severe irritation can result.

If you have an allergic or hypersensitive reaction, seek emergency medical attention. Possible symptoms include difficulty breathing, difficulty swallowing, swelling, chest tightness, skin rashes, and hives.

Condyline Topical Solution (Podophyllotoxin) should only be used as instructed and prescribed by your physician or pharmacist. Do not alter your dosage unless specifically instructed to do so by either of the above. Dosage and usage often depends on the severity of the condition, as well as the patient`s medical history and current health condition.
