Gopten

Gopten (Trandolapril) is an ACE inhibitor that is prescribed for the treatment of high blood pressure. By inhibiting the action of a certain compound present in the body (known as ACE or angiotensin converting enzyme), it causes the blood vessels to widen and relax, resulting in a lowering of blood pressure. In addition to treating hypertension, this medicine may also be prescribed for use in combination with other medicines as a treatment for congestive heart failure, to prevent kidney damage in diabetic patients, or to improve a patient`s chances of survival after a heart attack.

The exact dosage required for Gopten (Trandolapril) depends on the condition being treated, as well as other factors. A visit to your physician will be necessary, to determine the correct dosage.
