Uses
Keto-Diastix are a quick, convenient way for people with diabetes to test for glucose and ketone in urine. Keto-Diastix tests for the presence of both Glucose and Ketones in the urine.
Dosage and Administration
Collect a sample of urine in a clean container and dip the stick into the urine. Alternatively, pass the stick directly through the urine stream.
There are two test areas on each strip, that will change color after coming into contact with urine. Allow 15 seconds, then check the color of the inner-most test area against the chart labelled Ketones. Wait a further 15 seconds, then check the outer test area against the colors on the chart named Glucose.
