Kliovance

Kliovance (17-oestradiol/Norethisterone Acetate) is prescribed to female patients to help treat menopausal symptoms. Additionally, it may also help to prevent osteoporosis for high risk patients. It is a form of hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Always use Kliovance (17-oestradiol/Norethisterone Acetate) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.

Prescriptions are usually for one dose per day, washed down with plenty of water. Swallow tablets whole without chewing or breaking in any way. As this medication affects your hormone levels it is very important it is taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Attend all appointments to check on your progress.

• Skin reactions

• Vaginal bleeding or spotting

Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following:

• Severe dizziness
• Fainting
• Jaundice
• Swelling
• Increased blood pressure
• Loss of appetite
• Vision changes
