Lasilactone

Lasilactone (Frusemide/Spironolactone) is used to treat certain patients with hyperaldosteronism, low potassium levels, and in patients with fluid retention. It is also used to treat high blood pressure.

It causes the kidneys to eliminate unneeded water and sodium from the body into the urine, but reduces the loss of potassium from the body. Furosemide is used to reduce the swelling and fluid retention caused by various medical problems, including heart or liver disease. This drug only controls high blood pressure and hyperaldosteronism, it does not cure these conditions.

Lasilactone (Frusemide/Spironolactone) is taken once a day. Take it at around the same time every day. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking it without talking to your doctor.

Some possible side effects of Lasilactone (Frusemide/Spironolactone) include:

• Changes in vision
• Fever
• Vertigo
• Diarrhoea
• Vomiting

Lasilactone (Frusemide/Spironolactone) has been used by some patients in combination with other medicines to treat precocious puberty or myasthenia gravis (a disease in which the nerves do not function properly).

Certain female patients with abnormal facial hair have also takne this medicine. Talk to your doctor about the possible risks of using it for your condition.
