Description
Lutinus (Progesterone) is vaginal tablet used in cases where infertile women can benefit from addition luteal support in assisted pregnancies.
Lutinus (Progesterone) is usually applied caginally three times daily, beginning at oocyte retrieval. If pregnancy is confirmed, treatment with Lutinus should continue for thirty days.
The most common side effects reported when using Lutinus (Progesterone) are:
- headaches
- abdominal distention
- abdominal pain
- nausea
- uterine spasm
Less common side effects include:
- dizziness
- insomnia
- diarrhea
- constipation
- urticaria
- rash
- vulvovaginal disorders

Lutinus (Progesterone) should not be taken if:
- you are hypersensitive to progesterone, or any of the tablet excipients (Silica, hydrophobic colloidal, Lactose monohydrate, Pregelatiniszed maize starch, Povidone K29/32, Adipic acid, Sodium hydrogen carbonate, Sodium laurilsulfate, Magnesium stearate)
- you have had undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
- you have had a know missed abortion or eptopic pregnancy
- you suffer from sever hepatic disease or dysfunction
- know have known or suspected breast cancer or genital tract cancer
- you have past or current venous thromboembolism or severe thrombophlebitis
- you have or have had porphyria
