Noflam

Noflam (Naproxen) can relieve stiffness, pain and inflammation by blocking cyclo-oxygenase and inhibiting the production of inflammatory prostaglandins. It may also relieve fever. The main indications for this medicine include various forms of arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondylitis) and other similar painful conditions such as acute gout, tendonitis and bursitis. Pain caused by injuries is also treated with it, and it may even be used to treat women suffering from dysmenorrhea (period pain). Treatment can help to reduce the amount of substances that can cause pain and swelling, which allows for pain to be relieved. However, it will not cure the underlying condition.

Noflam (Naproxen) tablets are available as 2 different strengths which include 250mg and 500mg varieties. Your physician will tell you how and when to take the medicine, and you will be provided with comprehensive dosage instructions. Adults treating osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis or rheumatoid arthritis may be told to take 250mg or 500mg twice per day. Because the precise amount needed may differ, it will be necessary to follow the instructions provided by the physician in charge of medical treatment. Other conditions may need a different dosage, and in cases where long term treatment is needed, the patient may be directed to take a lower daily dosage.

Bleeding in the intestines or stomach can occur as a result of treatment with NSAIDs, and this can be life threatening in extreme cases. These symptoms may happen without any warning, and you must get medical attention immediately if you notice any of these symptoms.
