Uses

Petcam Oral Suspension (Meloxicam) can be used to help reduce the pain from osteoarthritis, it is a non-steroidal, anti-inflammatory medication recommended for dogs.

Dosage and Administration

Follow the vet`s instructions to ensure safe dosage and administration as your dog`s prescription will depend on your dog`s medical history and the exact condition being treate. Shake the bottle well and attach the syringe to the bottle before turning it upside down. Pull the plunger to the required amount of Petcam Oral Suspension (Meloxicam) before turning the bottle back to its original state. Then remove the syringe and administer to your dog.

Never give directly to puppies or small breeds, the medicine should instead be added to their food.Only use when prescribed by a veterinarian. Never share this medicine with other dogs even if their symptoms appear to be exactly the same. Never double-up your dog`s dose to compensate for missed doses.

Side effects

Stop administering Petcam Oral Suspension (Meloxicam) and speak to your vet if any of the following side effects occur.

  • Vomiting
  • Decrease in appetite
  • Changes to your dog`s behavior
  • Diarrhea
  • Stools may be bloody
  • Lethargy
Precautions

It is particularly important your vet is aware of any previous bleeding disorders, problems of any kind related to the kidney, heart, or liver, or dehydration.
