Robinax

Robinax (Methocarbamol) is a muscle relaxant used to relieve pain and discomfort caused by injuries, sprains, and strains. It works by blocking certain nerve impulses, blocking pain sensations. It is typically administered alongside other medication. This medication is not recommended for use by children.

Robinax (Methocarbamol) should be used only as prescribed by your physician. Do no self-medicate or adjust your dosage unless you have specifically been advised to do so by your physician or another health care professional.

A typical prescription is for 3 to 4 doses per day. Tablets should be taken alongside meals or a snack to limit stomach trouble. This medication is usually only for short-term use, and under normal circumstances should not be used longer than 3 weeks.

Seek immediate medical attention if you have a hypersensitive or allergic reaction. Symptoms could include skin rashes or hives, swelling of the face or limbs, chest tightness, trouble swallowing, or trouble breathing.

Robinax (Methocarbamol) should never be taken by children.

Do not consume alcohol while you are using this medication. For more specific information regarding when it is safe to begin consuming alcohol again, consult your physician.

Do not drive or operate any dangerous machinery until you are fully aware of how your body reacts after dosing, as soon patients experience sudden dizziness or drowsiness.
