Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) is used to boost hair growth in men suffering from male pattern baldness (MPB). It helps to treat these symptoms by promoting hair growth and halting further loss of hair. Minoxidil works by dilating the blood vessels (vasodilation) that occur around the hair follicles and stimulating the active growth phase of the follicles, resulting in thicker hair growth.

Use Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) as directed by your physician. You should also read the instructions on the packaging.

Generally, adults using Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) are told to apply the solution directly to the bald area of the scalp, making sure that the affected area is thoroughly dry prior to application. It is recommended to administer it twice a day. In order to maintain the newly grown hair, continued use is required. Otherwise any hair that has been regrown may be lost, and the balding process may continue.

If you notice any side effects while using Tugain Solution (Minoxidil), make sure that you tell your physician. Some of the most commonly occurring reactions are:

• Scaling
• Dry scalp
• Irritated or itchy scalp
• Inflammation of the scalp
• Flaking appearance of the treated area

Tugain Solution (Minoxidil) is a topical baldness treatment. Under no circumstances should it be consumed orally or applied to anywhere on the body except the area of the scalp affected by hair loss.

Withdrawal of treatment could lead to a relapse of hair loss, and your hair may eventually revert to the way it was before treatment started, and the balding process may also continue.

It is important that your hands are washed after application of the solution to the scalp. This will prevent the solution from accidentally coming into contact with other areas of the body and causing unwanted hair growth.
