Viaderm-K.C. (Triamcinolone Acetonide) is a topical corticosteroid prescribed to treat a variety of skin conditions. It operates by preventing the production of prostaglandins which are lipid compounds responsible for causing the irritation, pain, and swelling associated with injuries. It is typically prescribed to treat eczema or dermatitis, but your doctor may also use it to treat other unlisted conditions.

Always use Viaderm-K.C. (Triamcinolone Acetonide) according to the instructions provided by your physician to get the most effective results from treatment. The typical prescription is one to four applications each day, but the best dosage will depend on the condition being treated and the severity of your symptoms. Clean and dry the area being treated before each use to remove any dirt or loose skin. Apply a thin layer of cream, gently massage it into the skin, and allow any excess medication to evaporate. Do not apply Viaderm-K.C. (Triamcinolone Acetonide) to skin that is broken or severely damaged. It is also not recommended to use the medication if you have severe acne, plaque psoriasis, tuberculosis of the skin, or to treat fungal skin infections.
