Zifi

Zifi (Cefixime) is an oral antibiotic which is effective at fighting a wide range of bacteria based infections. It is typically prescribed to patients suffering from bacterial infection affecting the ear, skin, throat, bladder, and chest. It may also be used to treat some sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea.

Always follow the instructions provided by your physician while using Zifi (Cefixime). One tablet is normally taken each day for a medication period lasting one or two weeks. Do not self-medicate or change your dosage unless advised to do so. Similarly, if you miss a dose, never increase the next dose to compensate for the previous missed one. Always swallow the tablets whole, withough chewing, splitting, breaking, or dissolving them. Do not stop taking the medicine, even if your symptoms have disappeared, to prevent a relapse.

Promptly inform your physician of any side effects you notice while using Zifi (Cefixime). The most commonly reported symptoms are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, weakness, loss of appetite, changes in taste, abnormal bruising or bleeding, symptoms of a fever, seizures, convulsions, or changes to your urine. If you suspect you may be suffering from an allergic reaction, seek emergency medical care. Signs to watch out for include trouble breathing, skin rashes, swelling, and hives.
