Lactoperoxidase is a natural enzyme with antibacterial properties. This may be due to it inhibiting certain bacterial activity. Lysozyme is a protein which is widely believed to be active against certain fungi. Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein that exhibits immunomodulatory effects, as well as antibacterial action. When the three aforementioned ingredients are combined, their natural bio-active properties offer an effective way to cleanse dirty and sensitive ears. Other ingredients are also added so as to enhance its effectiveness.

After application, you should gently rub the end of the ear. Any remaining solution can be cleaned using a cotton ball. Pet owners using it for maintenance treatment are generally told to use it 1 to 2 times each week.
