Dapa

Dapa (Indapamide Hemihydrate) is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It may be used on its own or combined with other drugs to achieve optimum results. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, reducing the blood pressure enabling blood to pass through more easily.

Always use Dapa (Indapamide Hemihydrate) as you have been prescribed by your doctor. Never self-medicate or change your dosage without first consulting your doctor. The correct dosage can vary depending on your health, medical history, and the severity of the condition being treated.

Doctors usually tell patients to take this medicine once a day, to be taken in the morning. Unless otherwise instructed, patients should swallow tablets whole without breaking them in any way or dissolving them in water. Tablets can usually be taken either on an empty stomach or alongside a meal or light snack.

Notify your doctor if you experience any of the following while taking Dapa (Indapamide Hemihydrate):

• Upset stomach
• Nausea
• Diarrhoea
• Constipation
• Headaches
• Dizziness
• Weakness
• Loss of appetite

Seek medical care as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur:

• Severe nausea or vomiting
• Dry mouth
• Dehydration
• Increased thirst
• Changes in your heart beat
• A mineral imbalance
• Muscle pains or cramps
