Erytheocin (Erythromycin Estolate) is a macrolide antibiotic prescribed to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections such as cough, diphtheria, venereal disease, as well as ear, intestine and skin infections. It works by slowing or stopping the reproduction of bacteria cells allowing the immune system to destroy the infection.
