Felogard

Felogard (Felodipine) is considered a calcium channel blocker type of medication, which is used to treat hypertension and chest pain associated with angina. It works by relaxing the blood vessels to allow the heart to pump blood more easily and the blood to circulate more freely around the body. Your doctor may also prescribe the use of Felogard (Felodipine) for the treatment of other unlisted conditions.

Felogard (Felodipine) is usually taken once per day or as directed by a doctor. The medication should be taken on an empty stomach or with a light meal but will need to be taken the same way each time. Contact a doctor for the correct dosage and length of treatment as it will depend on the patient`s condition and their response to the therapy. The tablets should be swallowed whole and not crushed, chewed or split to prevent too much of the medication from being released at one time.
