Ramitax

Ramitax (Ramelteon) is a sleeping aid that can help people with insomnia with difficulty of sleep onset. Ramelteon is classified as a melatonin agonist. By acting on the melatonin receptors in the brain, it can assist with falling asleep.

Ramitax is packaged as a strip of 10 x 8mg tablets.

Take one tablet within 30 minutes of going to bed. Swallow the tablet while with a large glass of water.

To not take Ramelteon with or just after a fatty meal.

After taking Ramelteon, only perform those activities involved in preparation for sleep.

If you notice any of the following, contact your doctor immediately:

• signs of allergic reaction
• amenorrhea (missed menstrual cycle)
• decreased libido
• hallucinations
• headaches
• memory problems
• mood changes
• anxiety or depression
• discharge from nipples
• suicidal thoughts
• worse insomnia

Ramelteon is used to assist with sleep and as a result can make you feel tired, lethargic and dizzy. These effects can be increased by the us of alcohol. These effects can affect your ability to drive a car or operate machinery.

When you begin taking Ramitax (Ramelteon) you may feel groggy the following day.

Tell your doctor is you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breast-feeding.
