Zole-F

Zole F Ointment (Miconazole / Fluocinolone) is a topical medication with anti-fungal and anti-parasitic properties prescribed to treat fungal infections. It works by fighting ergosterol, an important substance which is part of a fungal cell`s membrane. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as ringworm, athlete`s foot, jock itch, eczema, or psoriasis. It is worth noting that this medication is not effective for treating viral infections such as acne, rosacea, chicken pox, and herpes.

Use Zole F Ointment (Miconazole/Fluocinolone) only as you have been prescribed by your physician. Misuse can result in serious and unwanted side effects. This medication is only meant for use over a short period of time. If you do not notice any changes after two weeks of usage you should consult your physician. Your dosage may need to be altered during your course of medication based on your response.

To administer the ointment, apply a small amount directly to the area being treated,gently massage it into the skin, and leave it uncovered to dry. Always wash your hands well with soap both before and after applying the ointment to prevent it from touching other areas.

Promptly report any side effects that you experience while using Zole F Ointment (Miconazole/Fluocinolone). Possible side effects include:

• Blistering
• Peeling
• Pimples
• Stretch marks
• Burning sensations
• Headaches
• Nausea

If you notice any of the follow serious side effects, consult your physician as soon as possible.

• Vision changes
• Mood changes
• Abnormal weight gain
• Abnormal tiredness
• Muscle weakness

If you experience an allergic reaction, call emergency services or proceed immediately to your nearest emergency department. Symptoms usually associated with this kind of reaction include skin rashes or hives, swelling of the limbs or face, chest pain or tightness, and trouble breathing and/or swallowing.

Zole F Ointment (Miconazole/Fluocinolone) is only safe for use by adults and children who are aged 12 years or above.
