Drontal Cat

Drontal Cat (Praziquantel/Pyrantel) is a type of anti-worm medicine for cats. It contains two active ingredients, each of which is effective in killing a variety of parasites that may infect cats. Praziquantel is effective in killing tapeworms, by helping the cat to digest the worm. Pyrantel is effectively at eliminating hookworms and other parasites known as ascarids.

Drontal Cat (Praziquantel/Pyrantel) should be administered directly to your cat. Some cats may consume the tablet directly from the owner`s hand, however you may also give them directly by mouth or in a small quantity of food. It is not required or recommended to make your cat fast prior to or during treatment. The exact amount required depends on the cat`s age, weight and condition being treated. You must take your cat to see a vet so that the correct dosage can be prescribed.

Drontal Cat (Praziquantel/Pyrantel) rarely causes side effects in cats. However, you should look out for signs of vomiting, bloody stools or watery stools in your cat. Take your cat to see a vet immediately if it becomes sick, or if you are worried that it is suffering from side effects.
