Prazital Plus

Prazital Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) is a worming tablet for dogs. It contains three active ingredients, each of which serves its own unique purpose. Praziquantel is effective in killing tapeworms, which it does by helping the dog to digest the tapeworm, thereby killing the parasite. Pyrantel Pamoate is effective against the hookworm parasite by paralyzing the worm and then neutralizing it. And finally, febantel helps to block the energy mechanism for parasites like whipworms, thereby eliminating these parasites.

Prazital Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) tablets are chewable, and most dogs will consume the tablets if they are fed to them by hand. If you have trouble administering the tablets, try feeding them to the dog with food. The exact dosage varies depending on the weight of the dog. You should take your dog to a vet in order to determine the correct dosage. Owners should also take their dog for a follow up examination 2 to 4 weeks after treatment in order to ensure that the parasite has been successfully eliminated.

Most dogs who take Prazital Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) do not exhibit any side effects. However, in rare cases some dogs have shown some minor side effects, such as vomiting, watery stools or bloody stools.
